La Maison Du Vignoble is a charming old French house set amongst an award winning organic vineyard in South West France close to the medieval town of Duras with its 12th century Chateau. The kitchen is a lovely space to enjoy coffee and croissants in the morning. If you plan on cooking yourself (as opposed to eating out in the fabulous nearby restaurants!) pick up fresh local produce at the market in Duras twice a week or pop into the local supermarket just 5 minutes away..

Pool & Garden

La Maison du Vignoble has a secluded private swimming pool close to the house surrounded by established trees. The undercover terrace area complete with picnic table and patio is situated next to the pool along with sun loungers.

The garden near the villa has fig, plum and sweet chestnut trees offering lovely areas of shade whilst the rest of the garden is laid to meadow leading to a wonderful ancient wood behind the property..the whole of which is enclosed by grapevines to all sides.

Gorgeous views & sunsets

Surrounded by private gardens amidst grapevines the views are from the house are beautiful in all seasons. Fields of sunflowers, maize and plum trees intermingled with vineyards stretch out to the horizon, absolutely spectacular at sunset with a glass of wine..!

The house is set away from a small country lane which leads to the hamlet of La Legue, just north of La Maison du Vignoble. The small village of St. Sernin de Duras is an easy 2km bike ride away to fetch croissants in the morning..
